**Thanksgiving Week is Here!!**

I am so exited for this week to finally arrive. I have been busy planning and organizing and deporting the house.  Thanksgiving will be day willed with joy and laughter in our home, I am have a few friends' families over including  mine. Most of  my guests have never had the joy of my cooking...so it should be so much fun!! 

I am starting the week preparing for tomorrow, as tomorrow I am going to start baking the pies and treats ahead of time (it will shorten my day on Thursday, and leave me less work!) 

SO cheers to the start of the 2011 holiday season!

Rainy Day in the Desert

It's official our warm autumn days of 70s & sunshine are gone...

Today has been one of those unusual days in the desert---rainy. It's been blustery & cold and raining steadily. Today's a day to curl up with a peppermint hot chocolate & good book...

Days like this don't come very often, but when they do, it's a nice excuse to pamper & retreat :-))
